NCVEI Offers Tools to Help Your Practice

Online Tools that are available on the NCVEI website (www.ncvei.org) can help you find out how to become an economic success in your practice.

The NCVEI tools can help improve the financial health of your practice and increase the quality of patient care. Go to the NCVEI Home Page, and select The Exam Room. Then select "Veterinarians and Practice Owners" and move to a page where you can input information on your practice.

The NCVEI was formed by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC). The Analytical Tools are managed by NCVEI on an independent basis as a service to the members of the AVMA, AAHA, AAVMC, and CVMA, but without interference or involvement in its administration by those associations.

The NCVEI insures that:

• Efforts will be taken to maintain the confidentiality of all data obtained from individual practitioners
  
• No individual practitioner's data will be accessible to any other individual practitioner, to any of the constituent associations, or to any third party
  
• Statistical data will be based in all cases on inputs from at least 20 providers, and no single provider's data will represent more than 25 percent, on a weighted basis, of any reported average. Statistical data will relate to specified geographic areas and demographic profiles, and care will be taken to ensure that no provider can identify data from another provider.
